Michael Rapaport Begins To Weep When Discussing Kevin Durant Backlash

by HHL JT

Last week, Kevin Durant posted a collection of DMs Kevin Durant sent him.

Durant, who wasn't using one of his famous burner accounts, went after Rapaport with a collection of homophobic slurs.

The NBA fined the Nets star 50K for the slurs.

Now Michael Rapaport is expressing regret over his posting of receipts.

In fact, he cried while discussing the backlash to his snitching on Skip and Shannon: Undisputed.

"The last few days have been tough.  I go out of the house and I get sneers and I get finger-pointing and I don't do good with sneers and snickering.  And I actually went to the dog park with my dog, and people who usually say hello and play with my dog they don't want to play with my dog, Wheezy," Rapaport says, and started choking up. "I went to my coffee shop, and they're like 'not today cupcake.'  And I'm like, 'why are they calling me cupcake?'  Then I get online, and people online have been so cruel and mean.

The whole thing has been crazy. I never expected it to turn into what it turned into," he continued. "It's something that I take as a learning experience. It's something that...to be honest, I regret. I don't know Kevin Durant as a friend, I don't consider him a friend."

Rapaport then revealed that Kevin Durant first came at him after Rapaport questioned whether why Durant was surly during an interview with Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith.

Rapaport went on to say he wished he didn't publish the DMs.  He also eventually admitted he made up the part about the dog park.
