Michael Jackson Estate To Sell Catalog For Biggest Bag Yet

Over the last several years artists (and their estates) have begun selling their catalogs.

So far Bruce Springsteen has grabbed the biggest bad, $500 million for his songs.

Dr. Dre leads the rap game with between $200 and $250 million to his catalog.

Michael Jackson is about to blow that all way.  Variety reports that Michael Jackson's estate is nearing a deal to sell his catalog for $800 to $900 million.

Acts such as the Beatles, Elvis Pressley, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Elton John, and Madonna have yet to sell their rights, so it's premature to call the King Of Pop the Catalog King.

But he's certainly going to be the leader in the clubhouse.
