by Daryl Nelson

Metro Boomin recently told artists and producers to stay away from Atlantic Records, because they do shady business.

Metro issued this warning on Twitter after one person said that Atlantic was having an A&R meeting soon, and they weree looking for up and coming Atlanta producers who were making heat.

Metro then clarified his tweet and said the person who he called shady was Warner Music Group's Mike Caren. He also said to watch out for the Artist Publishing Group Division.

What I said about Atlantic was directed at Mike Caren and the APG division who deals directly with producers and songwriters.

A bit after, Joe Budden chimed in and said he had bad business dealings with Caren as well and thinks he's a bad guy. Mike Will Made-It and London on Da Track also chimed.

Metro then gave the name of other people who he thinks would do a better job than Caren at discovering young new talent.

Dallas Martin, Orlando Wharton, and Lanre Gaba are good friends and black execs who do great business and wanna help us win.
