Derrion Childs, a local Memphis comedian, was shot and killed at a local gas station on Tuesday.
Two others were shot in the incident and are expected to survive.
What's notable about Childs is the 21-year old had been making jokes about the murder of Young Dolph and the Internet streets are saying he could have paid for that with his life.
“MANEEEE THEM FOLKS JUST KILLED YOUNG DOLPH,” he typed on Twitter. “I LOVE MEMPHIS CUH WE SO GANGSTA.”
Childs made a couple of other jokes in that vein.
