Yesterday, an old clip of Suge Knight telling Carson Daly about an unfortunate trip JAY-Z took to the West Coast resurfaced.
"The only thing I know about Jay-Z is that he came to L.A. a few times, and Snoop and Dre told him that, ‘When you on the West Coast, you wrote a song for me. Don’t worry ’bout nothin’.'" Suge remembered in 2001 on Last Call With Carson Daly. "Next thing I know he’s taped up, robbed, and gagged."
JAY-Z's forever friend Memphis Bleek saw the resurfaced clip, like everyone else, and he delivered a verdict of cap. Many, many caps.
