Melle Mel Says Kendrick Lamar & Eminem Are Overrated & Don't "Translate" To The Streets

OGMelle Mel was rated 48 on Billboard's list of greatest rappers of all time.

Kendrick Lamar was two and Eminem was five.

Melle thinks Kendrick and Shady are overrated

"I don’t know what records he made like that,” he said of Kendrick on Art of Dialogue.  "I might know one or two of them, but I don’t think you even hear Kendrick in the club like that ...it don't translate to him being the number two rapper of all time.  Because he's a fairly new rapper ...  Nobody wants to rap like Kendrick Lamar. Nobody wants to rap like Eminem. A lot of people wanted to rap, like Pac and Biggie."
