After leaving the hospital, Megan switched her focus to a local food bank.
Megan spent Tuesday at the Houston Food Bank, where she donated $15,400 worth of turkeys that were distributed to 1,050 households for Thanksgiving dinner.
Five Houston neighborhoods received the donations, including Fifth Ward, Southwest Houston, and Kashmere Gardens.
