It's been a pretty eventful week in Hip Hop news.
Within the last few days, Logic said he's retiring after dropping his next album on July 24th to focus on fatherhood.
Nick Cannon messed up a longtime relationship with ViacomCBS after spewing what's been called hateful language against Jewish and white people. Then there's Tory Lanez and the big mess that got himself into.
Let's start at the top of the week with Tory, when he was seen in a pool with Kylie Jenner and Megan Thee Stallion in Los Angeles. Witnesses said that people were arguing inside an SUV after the pool-party and shots were fired.
Cops found Tory, Megan, and another woman, who wasn't Kylie, inside the vehicle.
It was first reported that Megan cut her foot on broken glass during the arrest, but it was later revealed that she was intentionally shot in the foot and needed surgery.
The gun was tied to Tory and he was arrested for felony carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle. The police are now looking at him for assault with a deadly weapon and believe he opened fire on Meg after an argument.
For the second time this week, Meg spoke on the incident. She continues not to reveal who shot her but seemed annoyed that folks like 50 Cent are laughing at what happened.
