What's An MMG? Meek Mill Has Gone Independent

by HHL JT

Meek Mill has been complaining about his record deal for a minute now.

Among his complaints is that he's never been paid for his music.  Which is a big complaint.

Now Meek is saying he will be dropping his next album indie on possible on the blockchain.

One Meek's labels is (or was) Rick Ross's MMG.

Here's what Ross said about his relationship with Meek last month.

“I feel like we both hustlers. You feel me.  That’s one thing about life, you either grow together or grow apart. And as a boss, you make that decision, because whatever it is you want to do it, Ricky Rozay wants to see you do it. So when I bring Meek Mill on the team when I bring Wale on the team ... There’s a lot of people that didn’t last or was still down with me the way Meek is — so I want to see the homie shine regardless," Ross said.  "Let the homie live, Imma go my way, you can go yours. But make sure you keep winning brother, that's all Rozay want to see."

Do you think Meek will thrive on the blockchain?
