Meek Mill said he hates lace front wigs on women, recieved some backlash and then shot back.
"Lace front wigs are wack," wrote Meek, who might have a new girlfriend. "I'm protesting them. I just hate when you see that lace cap line in front all slicked down and the net in the middle. We letting y'all have everything else. Ask y'all man how he feel ... And I can still be attracted to a woman wearing them, but my thoughts be like 'Is that a wig?'"
The backlash came soon from people like the rapper Stefflon Don, who hit up Instagram.
But Meek told his critics to calm down and not to take everything so seriously, especially on the Internet. He also gave some very specific reasons why he hates lace front wigs.
"I seen this girl wig shift back and none of her girlfriends told her. I was like 'Ummm, ummmm, ummm,'" he tweeted. "Stop with all the black women stuff too. I actually like black women best with nothing on. Y'all be getting too serious ... I'm sorry. I just had a few bad lace experiences that traumatized me ... I was hitting something from the back, grabbed her hair just to make it a lil' rough and it slipped off and ever since it's been trauma."
"I just joke all day,"Meek added. "I don't care what people be thinking. I'm about to go outside and have a normal nice day. People trolled me for years on here. It ain't make or break me."
