Even before Rick Ross dropped his new album Rather You Than Me at midnight, folks were buzzing about a line in the song "Apple of My Eye," in which he references Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj's former relationship.
"I told Meek I wouldn't trust Nicki / Instead of beefing with your dog you just give some distance," Ross rapped in the song.He also delivered this line:
"We all make mistakes let's not get too specific / Like I rather be a killer than be a statistic."It turns out Meek had already heard the song, and had made sure to pre co-sign it last week.
Nicki hasn't responded to Ross' shot, nor Meek's suddenly relevant post.
If she does, hopefully it'll be faster than she answered Remy Ma.
