Mase Explains Why The South & Andre 3000 Can't Touch 90s New York

by HHL JT

Mase is still repping NYC hard.

At least 90s NYC.

During a Clubhouse discussion, Mase explained that his big-city cohorts don't even respect the South.

"When it comes to Hip Hop, New York artists in the 90s really don't have respect for South artists like they should.  They don't.  I'm just gonna put that out there.  They may come around and say "that's my boy."  But when they leave they like, 'that n*gga can't f*ck with me'".

After Mase made that revelation, Andre 3000's name got thrown out.

Mase said Andre is nice, but ...

"You don't say anything that blows me away," Mase said of 3 Stacks. " You may put a lot of syllables together, but that don't mean you said anything. I love Andre's persona, I love what he brought to the table.  But I wouldn't put Andre in the Nas category."
