Martin Shkreli Plays Wu-Tang Album; We Learn How He Got 'Carter V'

by HHL Editors

Now that Martin Shkreli is a convicted felon, he's letting it all out.

During an interview right after he was found guilty of two counts of securities fraud and a single count of conspiracy, the pharma douche played some of the one-off Wu-Tang album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.

"$2 million to Wu-Tang. I got a mixtape in return, it was a wonderful investment. I view it as a donation. People might see that as splurging. I don’t think there are many people in the world who have patronized Hip Hop to the extent I have," Shkreli explained in the video.

Jump to the 48-minute mark to hear him play about ten minutes of the album.

In addition to owning Once Upon A Time in Shaolin, Shkreli has a copy of the much delayed Lil Wayne album Carter V.

A different journalist Shkreli has spoken to, White House correspondent Alex Pfeiffer, recently revealed how Shkreli came to purchase the album on the black market.

I'll always remember how Shkreli told me he got the Carter 5. Wayne sold his Bugatti and left the CD in there..new owner sold it to shkreli
