Martin Shkreli Is Somewhat Popular In His New Home; Has Appropriate Nickname

Martin Shkreli is 16 months into his seven-year sentence on two counts of securities fraud and a single count of conspiracy.

So far, Fort Dix in New Jersey hasn't been that bad for the pharma douche and collector of rare Hip Hop

An article today in the Wall Street Journal suggests Shkreli has actually made friends in the federal facility.

"He has made prison friends, including “Krispy” and “D-Block,” some of whom affectionately call him “Asshole,” according to people familiar with his new life. They walk alongside him in the hall to ward off shenanigans from other inmates."

Now it's possible his relationship with his new "friends" is a monetary one. The Journal article makes it clear that Shkreli is still running his business from behind bars, adding that he plans on leaving richer than when he entered and that he has a secret Twitter page and a secret cellphone.

Shkreli is most likely already wishing he didn't flex that last piece of info to the reporter.  Having a contraband phone is a big no-no. A felony-level no-no if he's using it to commit more financial crimes. (As he almost surely is.)

So if Shkreli isn't in solitary already, he will soon be.
