Now that Tory Lanez has been convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion, anyone who's supported Tory in the past will probably be criticized.

It's something that Mariah The Scientist is experiencing at the moment after some of her old tweets resurfaced that shows her sticking up for the disgraced rapper. She was having an exchange with the artist Kaash Paige at the time, who said Tory disrespects women.

For the record, Tory discovered Mariah and signed her to his label One Umbrella Records.

“Well I have worked with and still do with Tory for years now and he’s never disrespected me. A woman. In fact, I feel like u gotta hidden agenda by speaking on a situation that don’t got sh*t to do wit u," Mariah wrote to Kaash, according to HotNewHipHop.

Some people then ripped Mariah on Twitter and said they wouldn't be supporting her anymore.

"ummmm mariah the scientist was on here defending tory lanez when megan got shot or did yall forget that," read one tweet.

"How tf you call yourself a scientist if you can’t use science-based evidence to create opinions," read another.

Mariah has yet to respond to the backlash.
