The new Maison Margiela 2015 Future Cracked Leather will be available exclusively at Barney’s. You can pre-order your pair for $940 and expect to receive them sometime in April.

The new colorway takes this high top on an interestingly new design route. The cracked leather gives these kicks an aged more rustic feel, contrary to what its “Future” name suggest. The two colorways, Bordeaux and Ivory, incorporate black creases resembling cracks on the entire upper for a distinct look. The soles of each colorway remain the same tone as their upper’s dominant color. As always, the high top Future maintains its unforgettably thick ankle strap, which sits atop the shoe, in the same matching Bordeaux or Ivory.
