Macklemore's house in Seattle was broken into this past Saturday, but he wasn't home.
His three children were, though, and so was their nanny, but the children weren't harmed.
Reportedly, two men wearing masks, tactical vests, and gloves entered the home through an unlocked patio door around 1:00 am. They eventually sprayed the nanny with bear spray while the children slept, and she was thrown to the ground.
The men stole a bunch of items as well, including jewelry, watches, and designer shoes.
However, the nanny was able to escape through a bathroom and ran to a neighbor's house for help.
She told police that it's her theory the invasion was a retaliation for Macklemore supporting Palestians in the Gaza war.
There's been no arrests made, and the rapper has yet to address any of this.
