Did you get attached to the idea of Lupe Fiasco releasing an album titled Roy? Well, we're sorry to report that Lu has decided to scrap it from the three albums he plans to drop in 2016.
We're still getting three albums from Lu this year -- there's just one new album title.
Roy is being replaced by Drogas light. He didn't provide an explanation for why he's getting rid of one title or what this new one means. Could it be an album of leftovers from his upcoming Drogas album? Or some sort of continuation?
It's already April, so Lupe has to put things into overdrive in order to make his deadline before the year's over.
UPDATE:
Still 3 albums this year. However "Roy" will NOT be one of them. The new titles are: DROGAS DROGAS light* SKULLS Thank you! — Lupe Fiasco (@LupeFiasco) April 14, 2016
