Lupe Fiasco May Not Be Retiring After All

by Daryl Nelson

Just a couple of weeks ago, Lupe Fiasco said he was quitting rap music after he was accused of being antisemitic. It happened when he remixed J. Cole's 'Everybody Dies' and spit this line:

"Artist gettin' robbed for their publishing / By dirty Jewish execs that think his alms from the covenant."

A fan who went to a recent show of Lupe's in Cleveland, Ohio reports the Chicago spitter isn't going to retire after all, and instead he's going to drop an updated version of the album Drogas on Feb. 10, 2017.

"He said he could never fully give himself to an album while with Atlantic," wrote the concert goer on Reddit. "So the real 'Drogas' will be released after a lite version with Atlantic."

Lupe has yet to confirm the Reddit user's comments on any of his social media pages, so we'll have to wait and see if all of this is true.
