Lupe Fiasco Compares His New Album To Nas' 'Illmatic'

Earlier this week, Lupe Fiasco said he was making a 10-song album in just 24 hours. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to complete the project in that timeframe but he knocked it out soon after. 

He then made a huge claim about the LP.

“It’s my Illmatic," wrote the "Kick, Push" rapper.

Of course, Illmatic  is Nas' debut LP and is considered one of the greatest albums of all time.  The project also featured a star-studded line of producers including DJ Premier, Pete Rock, and Q-Tip from A Tribe Called Quest. 

But despite how much the album has been praised over the years, Nas once said that he's tired of people only celebrating that project and not his others.
