Ludacris Heavily Criticized for R. Kelly, Bill Cosby Line In New Song With Lil Wayne

by Daryl Nelson

A lot of people started ripping Ludacris after his Verzuz battle with Nelly on Saturday. Not for how the battle went down -- the consensus was that Luda won easily -- but for a lyric that Luda delivered in a new song he played.

The cut is called "Silence of the Lambs," featuring Lil Wayne, and the Atlanta spitter mentioned Bill Cosby and R. Kelly

"The world screwed if n*ggas pouring drinks like Bill Huxtable / I love R. Kelly but around my daughters, I'm not comfortable," spit the Disturbing Tha Peace rapper.

I still can’t believe Ludacris played a new song with that R Kelly line THREE TIMES. Never let that man on live again.

Ludacris really thought it was appropriate to tell us he loves R.Kelly in 2020 and told us three times. I’m still in shock.

Nelly won tonight off the strength of Ludacris shouting out out R. Kelly not once, not twice, but three times in a 10 minute window. I don’t make the rules.

What do you think of the line? Do you find it offensive?
