A lot of folks believe that cancel culture is stupid. But Lizzo says it's actually appropriation.

There was real outrage from truly marginalized people and now it’s become trendy, misused and misdirected.

I hope we can phase out of this & focus our outrage on the real problems.

Lizzo's tweet may lead one to wonder if she thinks comedian Aries Spears should be canceled.  A lot of people called for his cancellation after he body-shamed her last year and compared her shape to poop.
