Lil Xan Is No Longer Doing Xans

by HHL JT

Today, we learned that police in Tucson are investigating whether Lil Peep died after taking Xanax laced with Fentanyl.

Lil Xan figured out that's what was going on before it was too late.

In an interview with No Jumper, which was filmed shortly before Peep's death, the "Betrayed" rapper said he was no longer doing his namesake drug.

"When the first bad batches came along they had Fentanyl and the people messed up on the dosage so all my friends were puking. They tried to give me these bars, like 'These shits are strong as fuck, they made me puke.' And I'm like 'That's a little weird I  don't know if I want to get that turnt that I'm puking.' So I took a quarter and I felt like I'm on meth. After that I had a homie die from it. So ... it had to come out of a prescription bottle ... that's when I started slowing down on Xans because it was nothing but pressed Xans and it was really hard to get pharmaceuticals. So that really cooled me down until I quit that shit."

Even though he no longer takes Xanax, Lil Xan isn't going to change his name.

"The name works, why would I change the name when it's working," he explained, saying he'd drop the "Lil" before the "Xan". "The formula is doing great."
