Lil Wayne's 'Free Weezy Album' Dropping In April

By HHL Editors

The "free" in Lil Wayne's upcoming Free Weezy Album refers to two things. First, Wayne's legal battle with Birdman and Cash Money, and, second, how much the project is going to cost you.

We all thought the Free Weezy Album was going to drop in February.  But that didn't happen, adding to the circus-like environment surrounding Wayne.

Over the weekend, Wayne was heavily promoting Free Weezy during a Red Bull sponsored concert that also included his old buddy Mannie Fresh. Now we know why.

According to Tunechi, the album/mixtape/whatever is dropping sometime in April.

Take that with a grain of salt, obviously, as over the past year Wayne has made many project release announcements that didn't end up happening.

Still, it's good to see that Weezy isn't letting the BS get him down so much that he can't keep churning out the tunes.
