BET's Twitter page shaded Nicki Minaj after Cardi B became the first female ever to win Best Rap Album at the Grammys.
@BET y’al supposed to uplift black people especially black women... but you do this type of foolery when Nicki is the reason why you got a lot of ratings and brought the show back to life. Y’al are fucking canceled pic.twitter.com/oXKjHdbbzz— sir’ 🐘 (@SirBrodeyy) February 11, 2019
"Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront," BET captioned an article about Cardi's win.
BET quickly deleted the Tweet. But the damage was done, and Nicki pulled out of the BET Awards and the BET Experience show.
Her Young Money boss Lil Wayne supports her decision.
"I'm with u!!" Weezy typed.
