Lil Wayne Speaks On More Than Holding His Own Against Eminem

by HHL JT

There is always a risk that when you get on a track with Eminem, you get shown up. (Just ask JAY-Z.) Lil Wayne has been on the same cut as Shady a few times and he believes he more than held his own.

"I did a few joints with Em, he's my man," Wayne said in his new Drink Champs interview. "I can humbly say I expected that. When you get on that joint it's like a championship game, and you win it, and they ask you how does it feel. I came in with my game plan and I expected my game plan to work. When you send a song to Em you attack it like that, like nah you not going to do me like this. Either we gonna right here with it, and we're going to make a beautiful great song, but you ain't gon' do me that...I just made sure that he didn't body me, cause that boy is a monster."

Eminem and Wayne both just dropped albums.  Weezy Funeral and Shady Music To Be Murdered By.

While neither featured on the other's project, Wayne did shout out Em on his new track "Piano Trap."

"I’m workin’ my plans, ingenuous
I’m talkin’ ’bout mags and millions
Mags and millions, man, ask Eminem," Wayne raps.
