Lil Wayne Says He No Longer Speaks To Birdman; 'Free Weezy' Drops In March

by Sermon

Lil Wayne hasn't been quiet when it comes to voicing his disappointment with Cash Money.  But up until today we haven't seen any proper interviews on the subject. He broke that silence with Rolling Stone.

He told the magazine he no longer talks to Birdman. "I have no words," he says. "I'm super-numb to it, to tell you the truth." He also spoke about his prisoner tweet that publicized his displeasure, and admits that the whole situation is weighing on his mind. However, in typical Weezy fashion, he shrugs it off with a "but it's nothing that a good blunt can't cure."

In case you needed an update on that Free Weezy Album, he hopes to release it in March. He says Tha Carter V is still "super done" as well. Surprising to hear since he's always working up until his final deadline (which there isn't one here). To be finished with the album means he's real confident about the material. Maybe the world will get to hear it this year.
