Lil Wayne Reveals What Happened Between Monty Williams & Deandre Ayton

Phoenix Suns starting center and impending free agent Deandre Ayton was benched after having to be separated from his coach Monty Williams during the Suns 33 point home court Game 7 drubbing at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks.

Lil Wayne was sitting courtside during the game (which gave Luka Doncic extra motivation to punish the Suns) and was able to hear what happened leading up to the confrontation.  He then told his buddy Skip Bayless what he heard.

"From what our man Lil Wayne told me, he was sitting across [from the Suns bench], Monty got so upset with Ayton that he said, 'You freaking quit on us'"

'You freaking quit on us," Bayless reports Wayne heard Williams say to Ayton.

When Williams was asked what happened between him and Ayton post-game, he simply said "It's internal."
