Lil Wayne wasn't happy when JAY-Z picked Kendrick Lamar to do the Super Bowl Halftime Show in Wayne's hometown of New Orleans.
He's still miffed at the decision, but now he almost sees it as a blessing since he no longer cares about doing the show.
"Every time I looked, it was nothing that made me want to go inside and see what was going on," he told Rolling Stone. "They stole that feeling. I don't want to do it. It was perfect."
Although he had no desire to watch Kendrick play the big game, he has nothing against Lamar.
"Things are fine between me and Kendrick, I called him before the Super Bowl to clear the air and to encourage him" "I didn’t pay attention to Drake & Kendrick's war, I went on stage and I was singing the song 'Not Like Us' and they thought I was dissing, I didn't even know it was Kendrick!"
