Lil Wayne's legal beef with Birdman and Cash Money is about more than just $8 million and his own freedom. According to TMZ, Wayne also believes that his Young Money artists -- most prominent being Drake and Nicki Minaj -- should come with him when he leaves Cash Money, since their contracts are technically with him.
Complicating matters is that Baby also had a hand in developing YM's talent. And that Cash Money has a distribution deal with all of Young Money's artists. So the case would be far from a legal slam dunk for Weezy.
Other artists signed to YM include Wayne's rumored girlfriend Christina Milian, Mack Maine (who's also the label president) and Lil Twist. Then there is whatever is going on with Tyga.
