Lil Wayne Debuts 'Start A Fire' At American Music Awards

By HHL Editors

Iggy Azalea took favorite rap album and favorite rap artist during last night's American Music Awards, and Waka Flocka Flame starred in an out-of-left-field commercial for cough drops. Among the other Hip Hop highlights -- granting many would consider Iggy's wins a lowlight -- was Lil Wayne debuting his new song 'Start A Fire' featuring Christina Milian. They only did a snippet of it up on stage, but here is the full version.

Weezy raps, and Milian, who he may or may not be dating, does the hook. The song will be featured on Tha Carter V, which drops on December 9.

What do you think? It seems to us that this was right song to play for the national TV audience of mostly teenage girls who tuned in for Taylor Swift, but shouldn't necessarily be indicative of the other tracks on Wayne's much-anticipated album.
