Lil Wayne Bus Shooter Pleads Guilty; Faces Up To 20 Years

by HHL Editors

Jimmy Winfrey, who was facing 27 counts in connection with shooting up Lil Wayne's tour bus in April, has pled guilty to six of them.

He was sentenced to 20 years with the judge suggesting probation after ten.

Winfrey was Young Thug's former tour manager and the indictment against him suggested that he had called Thug on a phone registered to Birdman right after the incident. At the time of the shooting Wayne was feuding with both Thugger and Baby.

There had been reports Winfrey was willing to snitch on Thug and Birdman.  We guess either they were incorrect, Winfrey didn't actually have the goods on the duo, or somebody convinced him to keep his mouth shut.
