Lil Wayne & Birdman Are Working Hard To Squash Their Beef

by Daryl Nelson

On Monday, we shared a video of Lil Wayne and Birdman hugging it out at LIV Nightclub in Miami. Now a few details have emerged.

According to TMZ, the two have been working on squashing their beef for months, and they've already spoken several times. Although their source said they're far from having the father-son relationship that they once had, they're doing their best to remove any harsh feelings towards each other.

The source also said that the $51 million lawsuit between them is still on, but that Weezy and Birdman have decided to keep it separate from their personal relationship.

"They're a family and that's bigger than money," said the insider.

In regards to the two hugging at LIV, Baby had an area reserved downstairs and Weezy upstairs but they didn't know the other was in the building until DJ Stevie J announced it. Byran Jr., Birdman's son, came to say hello to  Wayne first, who then went to Birdman's table and that's where they embraced.

Do you think these two will ever restore their relationship to what it used to be?
