Just three months after B.G. was released from prison in September of last year, he dissed his former Hot Boys group mate Lil Wayne on Finesse2tymes' song "Gangstafied."
"My n*gga Boosie went home and my dawg was steady blowing / My n*gga Weezy steady touring but he's bitch and it's showing / I'm still a living legend, don't act like you didn't know it," rapped B.G.
But soon after, he told Wayne he wants him for a Hot Boys reunion.
Many on social media said there would be no way that Wayne would be interested in the reunion after being dissed, but according to what he told the 4HUNNID podcast, that's not the case.
[Instagram post not found]"We spoke about it a few times but you know, they have situations," said Wayne. "B.G. just coming home, so he got to figure out can he tour, can he travel. Juve ready and Turk ready, but we got to see if Geezy can move around like that."
"Everybody got their own thing now. Everybody got their own record label, their own situation," he added. "Nobody ain’t tied down to nothing. So when we ask, everybody’s [like] 'Yeah, we’ll jump on whenever.' We just got to get Geezy right."
