Weezy discussed that as a guest on the skateboarding podcast The Nine Club. Toward the end of his chat with pro boarders Chris Roberts, Roger Bagley and Kelly Hart, Wayne made an announcement about his music career.

Just make sure they know that 'Funeral' is coming soon, Wayne said when asked what he has on the horizon, and then clarified that it's a music project. "I don't have a release date, but I have a whole bunch of good news coming soon," Tunechi continued. "If you are a Wayne fan -- I know we've been going through some tough times -- but if you are a Wanye fan we about to be holding our heads high soon."
