Lil Uzi Vert Keeps Devil Worship Controversy Alive With 'XO Tour Llif3' Video

by HHL Editors

Lil Uzi Vert likes to play with the devil.

Just say his name really fast. Or consider his love for Marilyn Manson, who has openly flirted with Satanism throughout his shock rock career.

[Related: Lil Uzi Vert got a very expensive Marilyn Manson chain.]

Vert just threw another log onto the Satan fire with the new video for his smash hit 'XO Tour Llif3.' However, we're not sure if he's done it purposely.

In addition to the new visuals' general ghoulishness, the Arabic subtitles in the video are backward, which denotes black magic.

HipHopDX reached out to Arabic speaker and design expert Nina Zidani, and she believes it may all just be a mix up.

“Editing softwares often can’t read Arabic letters like they do English,” Zidani says. “My guess is that he got the translation from someone, and then the editor dropped it in the software as regular text, but the software couldn’t parse it accurately and no one cared enough to double check. It’s just written wrong. No black magic.”
