Lil Uzi Vert Got His Name From a Crackhead

Say it fast enough and it sounds like Lucifer.

Given Vert's flirtations with the dark lord, some have assumed that's where the name came from.

It turns out it comes from another shady character: a crackhead.

“I got named be a crackhead," Vert said during an appearance on streamer Adin Ross’ channel. "He's a good guy."

Well, the name has certainly worked out for the Philly artist.
