Lil Tjay was shot a bunch of times in Edgewater, New Jersey last year and spent several days in a coma.
He's spoken to Rolling Stone about the scary incident and revealed the advice he received from 50 Cent afterward.
Mind you, 50 was also the victim of gunfire since he was shot nine times in 2000.
“Every artist needs pain or something to feed off of. This right here, you shake this sh*t off," Tjay said 50 told him during a phone call. “You got the length for greatness. You going to be bigger than ever.”
In related news, Tjay was arrested in New York earlier this month at the video shoot of "Gangsta Boo," his song with Ice Spice.
New York has super strict gun laws so he could land behind bars.
