There's a (fake) news story going around that claims that Lil Tecca was shot to death over the weekend.

"Tyler Sharp aka Lil Tecca was only 16 years old and had a big influence in Nassau county, he change the rap game in New York," reads the article. "At 9:00am Tyler went to the JFK airport to catch a flight to Toronto this is where one individual came to Tyler’s gate and killed Tyler."

The first tip-off that something is amiss about this tale of carnage at JFK airport is that Tecca is 17, not 16.

Nevertheless, Tecca decided to go to Twitter to clear the air.

While Tecca is very much alive, he did recently threaten to quit the rap game at his very young age.
