Lil Tay's Father Responds To Claim That He's An 'Abusive Racist' Who Faked Her Death

by Daryl Nelson

Lil Tay's father Christopher Hope has issued a statement after his daughter said that he's responsible for falsely telling people that she and her brother died.

The accusation was made yesterday on Tay's Instagram page.

"My abusive, racist, misogynistic woman beating father Christopher J. Hope faked my death," the message reads.

Hope responded by saying the message is completely false, and he plans to sue.

"The person who is responsible for that Instagram post, as well as anyone repeating the completely false and libelous accusation within it, are virtually certain to become defendants in a defamation lawsuit," he said. "Everything stated is 100 percent false, and I trust that this should be obvious to anyone who knows me or the long history of absurd and untrue statements made by the various people who have controlled the Instagram account."

All of this could have to do with a nasty custody battle that's been going on between Hope and Tay's mother Angela Tian but who knows?

What do you believe is going on here?
