November 26th marked 13 years since Cash Money and No Limit rapper Soulja Slim was gunned down in New Orleans.
That could be the reason why the late rapper's son Lil Soulja Slim is so upset at Soulja Boy, whom he accused of profiting off his father's death.
In fact, the late rapper's offspring recently told Soulja Boy that he's no longer welcomed in New Orleans and issued him a no fly zone.
"Dis why I'm at Soulja Toy," wrote Lil Soulja. "He don't respect the streets, so it's no fly zone, bitch. When I catch you, you better have the U.S. Marines with you. I promise."The young rapper then shared a diss track aimed at the 'Crank That' spitter, and flashed a gun on screen to appear more menacing.
Yesterday, Soulja Boy posted something that looks like a direct response to Lil's video. In the clip, you can see the 26-year-old stand with his crew, with one of the guys showing off an AK-47 assault rifle.
For now, there's no telling if this beef will stay confined to social media posts or if it will spill out into the streets. Hopefully, it'll be the former and there won't be any bloodshed.
