Lil Skies has made himself a name to know in 2018.

The 19-year old's debut album Life Of a Dark Rose peaked at number 10 last month, and he has two big singles with "Red Roses" and "Nowadays".

The Waynesboro, PA rapper has some pretty distinctive face tattoos, which he addressed in an interview with The Lyrical Lemonade.

"I got all my face tats as motivation." Skies says. "When you wake up every morning you gotta look at your face. You always look at your face. ... "People are always gonna look at me when I go somewhere. People are always gonna judge me, they're always gonna see me and be like, "what the fuck. It's just something that I accepted. It was a challenge I was willing to take on," he continues. "It was something that I would say was like a sacrifice for my career."

"Music has to be it, because I can't get no other fucking job now," he added.
