"Old Town Road" is tied for the longest-running number one in Hot 100 history.

With 16 weeks at number one, Lil Nas X's country trap smash is now in the record books alongside "Despacito" from Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber and"One Sweet Day" by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men.

"Old Town Road" is actually up 22 percent between its 15th and 16th  week because of a second remix that added Young Thug and Mason Ramsey to Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus. Remix spins contribute to the original charting track's total, which virtually guarantees that "Old Town Road" will get a 17th week at number one next week and more claim to the argument it is the biggest hit ever.
