Lil Nas X's Documentary Delayed After Bomb Threat

We haven't heard from Lil Nas X in a while. The last time was a few months ago when much was said about his wild Met Gala outfit.

The "Old Town Road" rapper made headlines this weekend after his documentary Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero was delayed on Saturday at the Toronto Film Festival over a bomb threat.

The doc was supposed to start at 10:00 pm but it started 30 minutes later, and Variety says the threat was because X is "a Black queer artist." But someone at the film festival said otherwise.

"Earlier this evening, we were made aware by the Toronto Police Service of an investigation in the vicinity of the red carpet for the Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero screening," said a festival rep. "Our standard security measures remained in place during this time and the screening commenced with a slight delay. To our knowledge, this was a general threat and not directed at the film or the artist."

Nas hasn't responded to the bomb threat at this time.
