Lil Nas X Responds To Nike Suing Over His Satan Shoes

by Benny Franklin

Lil Nas X has been promoting his new track "MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)," and he's been using homoerotic and devilish imagery to do it.

Part of that imagery included a customized Nike Air Max 97 shoe by MSCHF Product Studios.

The shoe featured drops of blood and sold out immediately.

Nike made it clear over the weekend that they had nothing to do with the shoe, but today, they announced they were suing MSCHF, claiming they infringed on their trademark because the swoosh logo is still on the shoe.

Since the announcement of the lawsuit, Lil Nas X has been keeping it light and humorous on social media.
