In 2019, Lil Jay was convicted of the murder of 25-year old Filmon Rezene, who was shot and killed in Chicago on May 4, 2015.
He got 14 years. With time served, he could be out next year. The latest photo of Jay suggests he's packed on some lbs while locked up.
Jay was friends with Rezene and was with him when he got in a shootout with a marijuana dealer, who killed Rezene in what was ruled self-defense. Hence the murder charge for Jay.
