Lil Durk Says He Will stay True To The Streets Amid Changes

Lil Durk has changed his name from Durk Banks to Mustafa Adbul Malak amid his further embrace of Islam.

He no longer does drugs and has denounced violence.

But that doesn't mean he's changed up his sound.

Durk took to social media and explained that he will always stay true to his roots when it comes to music.

"Feed the streets I'm not chasing a sound smurk music for the people took me 2yrs to understand," he typed. "Had a Grammy in the trenches before I had a real one."

Smurk is expected to drop an album this year.
