Lil Durk Responds To Tekashi 6ix9ine, Who Mocked His Album Sales & "Pissed" on King Von

by HHL JT

Tekashi 6ix9ine took a victory lap after Lil Durk's album The Voice was only projected to do 55K in its first week.

"Used Von name for sales. Is NOT blackballed has all industry support.  55K and his man was caught in 4K #KingVon REST IN PISS," 6ix9ine mocked in the Instagram comments.

It isn't the first time the two have sparred over sales.  Durk was quick to laugh when the 6ix9ine album TattleTales only did 53K first week.

Durk responded to those who would clown his numbers with a Tweet.

"80k first week with only 5hrs promo the voice bitch," he typed.

We're not sure where Durk is getting his 80K from.  But he did drop the album on midnight Wednesday, rather than the more traditional midnight Thursday so perhaps that's where he's getting his alternative accounting from.

As for the no promo ... that's a bit disingenuous.  While it was a "surprise" drop, he's been hyping the project up for months.
