Lil Dicky seems to be transitioning from comedy rapper to TV star.
His Kevin Hart and Scooter Bruan produced half-hour comedy hits FX this spring.
But Dicky wants all of his friends to know he's not going to forget about music.
"But I can’t wait till it’s out so I can get back to the music that made you care about me in the first place. I’m an elite, world class rapper, and I look forward to proving that to the world, and validating all of you who believed that I had it in me in the first place. The dog days are almost over. Thank you for sticking with me," Dicky wrote, after discussing his show and the big delay since his last album.
