LiAngelo Ball Arrested In China

by HHL JT

LiAngelo Ball is usually the forgotten Ball boy. He's not a Laker and a rapper like his older brother Lonzo. Nor does he have a high school highlight reel and a Lamborghini like his younger bro LaMelo.

But he is a freshman on the UCLA basketball team. The Bruins are in China this week, where they open the season on Friday against Georgia Tech.

Today, LiAngelo finally made a name for himself by getting arrested for shoplifting along with his teammates Cody Riley and Jalen Hill.

The players allegedly stole from a Louis Vuitton store that is located next to the team's hotel.

The trio was picked up by police early this morning local time and questioned for several hours.

"They weren't messing around," the source told ESPN. "The kids were scared."

UCLA has issued a statement on the arrest:

"We are aware of a situation involving UCLA student-athletes in Hangzhou, China. The University is cooperating fully with local authorities on this matter, and we have no further comment at this time."

So far no word from the Ball Family.
